The Great Plains of America stretches across 10 states south from the Canadian border to the Texas Panhandle, and west from the 98th meridian to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It was the home of the buffalo and the nomadic tribes that followed them; now ranchers and farmers supply us with our meat and wheat.
